LFS Approved Phlebotomy Course

A.C.I. students are guided through a minimum of 80 various blood draws using vacutainer, syringe, butterfly and capillary sticks.

The key to becoming a successful Phlebotomist is confidence. 

A.C.I. Career College, Inc. offers an intense classroom program that exceeds minimum state requirements for training and includes an additional 160 didactic training hours as well as a minimum of 80 blood draws

It is through state required 40 hours of clinical training within a CLIA laboratory that you will gain training with specimen processing.  This is a CRITICAL skill to providing superior patient care.  Actual clinical patients must be drawn off of during your clinical training period in order for you to receive proper knowledge of what it means to process their specimens with accuracy and care. 

Along with the additional classroom and technique training all students will receive training with, Urine specimen collection, Throat cultures, Specimen processing, Tray set up, Order of draw, AED CPR certification, Accredited National Testing, Bloodborne Pathogens, HIPAA, Clinical Training and Resume Compilation.

Full course classroom education is provided through a curriculum consisting of  progressive modules to be completed in approximately 10 weeks.

Additional classroom hours allow our graduates the opportunity to  enter into the field with superior knowledge and confidence.

Our students are given the opportunity to become Nationally Certified prior to performing their clinical training. 

Upon acceptance into this course you will be thoroughly informed on what to expect during the time spent acheiving your ultimate goal of employment.

Accredited National Certification Testing is offered at A.C.I. Career College, Inc. and is included.
